This videoart installation is supported by a sound proposal that features 21 audio channels that reproduce the sounds of nature, and it is accompanied by 38 projectors that flood this videoart installation with magic employing volumetric projections. It is the ideal introduction to the universe that inspired Gaudí.
“The inspiration of the genius” is a show that features a variety of expressions and audiovisual sensations. It is situated in the building’s historic coal vaults. An immersive project by Refik Anadol titled “In the mind of Gaudí” opens this magical cube, inviting guests to explore a myth of building straight out of the brain of the Catalan architect. In the initial stage of this project, which aspired to build the biggest digital collection on Gaudí, rigour was the primary necessity and emotion was the ultimate goal. Through extensive research and the utilisation of Artificial Intelligence, Casa Batlló has amassed what is currently the biggest digital library on Gaudí, consisting of millions of data points, files, images, films, plans, texts, sketches, 3D models, and the architect’s original manuscripts.
Through the use of sophisticated machine learning algorithms, the previously concealed building patterns, biomimetic structures, and design logic have been uncovered. Permitting artist Refik Anadol to comprehend the impact that Gaudí has had on mankind, interpret his thoughts, envision his aspirations, perceive the world through his eyes, and uncover the inner haven and brilliance of a mysterious artist.

Revitalizing Tradition: The Rebirth of Casa Batlló
Since one of the most remarkable repairs was performed on the House in 2017, the visitor will view the greatest version of Casa Batlló. Through this endeavour, they were able to restore the Noble Floor’s original stuccoes, find and recreate the wainscoting, and retrieve lamps and other decorative pieces. In conclusion, it is important to note the restoration of the main façade. This project spanned from January to May 2019 and involved experts from seven different guilds. They cleaned, restored, and applied various conservation techniques to the five materials that make up the façade: stone, iron, ceramic, glass, and wood. Each of these materials required a unique treatment. See films
